well looks like mk8 online service is still shitty so I won't be playing w/ anybody one here ever.

I thought nintendo stepped up their game ffs.

did you search for the tournament by code?
you need to do that to join.
 
I'm pretty sure it's not even trying to get me into the game since it only loads for a second or two before telling me to fuck off.

i guess if you can, sit the console closer to the wifi, although i'm far from mine so that shouldn't be the issue

It might just be a regional difference thing, I don't think there's anything I can do about it.

The console is roughly 2-3 metres away from the router.
 
we've been on ice ice outpost and excitebike arena at least 3 times each

and i hate both of those tracks so yaaaaay
