Super Mario Maker

It'll be interesting to see what other chaotic courses will be made after the whole product has been released.

I've played Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii at the wrong time. D:

I see that the Super Mario World's Bowser sprite got a redesign.

It is great to see Yoshi return. His arms were washed, explaing why he no longer has those cheetos stains in them.

Your avatar makes me think Megamario 15 returned.

And that's a relevant comment, how?

Anyhow, I've heard that there's amiibo support that turns Mario into the amiibo character.

Sounds good, but I've also read that Wii Fit Trainer looks terrible.

So, any thoughts on that?

Wish Super Mario Maker has multiplayer support, though...

Based on what was shown at the NWC, I'm going to be able to do this. AND MORE.

so hype

If the Megaman Amiibo is compatible. You know what to do 3K ;)

personally my only wish is the ability to play 1v1 races using the gamepad as one screen and the tv as the other. because this game is much more personal than other mario titles i don't think it really needs a great multiplayer imo

man i'm going to love playing as wario :wario:

i'll bet nintendo takes the cheap option and only makes them compatible with the 8-bit levels

Well, multiplayer should've been an option, and you should be able to at least play as separate Mario characters rather than resorting to only amiibo. smh.

I'm totally betting that Nintendo will limit it to 8-bit levels.

yah, just watched a bit of the treehouse stream for the game and the mystery mushroom that's used to turn mario into different characters is exclusive to the 8-bit palette (and the propeller mushroom is exclusive to the NSMB palette). it appears that a single powerup and the physics of each game are the only differences between palettes.

not really sure how it works though - whether it gives you a new set of sprites or is just a reskinned super mario sprite which is lost once you take a hit isn't that clear. i get to play as ness and robin though so that's all that matters

and you can make ghost houses SWEET

edit: oh and uh yoshi is only for the smw and nsmb style levels lol

Mario turning into Wii Fit Trainer would be hilarious. I mean, you can come up with crazy stuff like every character in Smash Bros. is just a power-up Mario.

funny you mention that

the little details with the game over sounds and such are what makes it the best.

Well there goes my Koopaling killing simulator...

We don't really know if the E3 2015 demo is the final build. We'll know for certain in a few months.

They're all random amiibo unlocks.

The release date though

It's the day before my birthday.

Meaning that I'm obviously fated to get this game. <3
Hey, I didn't know your birth date was in September as well. Good thing you were born the day before.

I will try to get this day one and ask someone for Happy Home Designer. I was kind of against it at first, but this E3 got me on the game's hype train.

It's coming out on 9/11. The game is coming the day before my birthday, meaning my birthday is the day after the game comes out.

Anyways, tbh, I probably will be too busy playing other people's levels. Knowing how I work, I'll probably try to make some complex level and end up not finishing it because I feel it'll be meh.

Still the same idea, though I do think I should have noticed that.

I actually feel like I could get into creating a fair number of levels, but I'll definitely be spending most of my time most likely playing others' levels.

Meanwhile, I'm going to figure out how to use Reggie!. So, yay for that, I guess?

Also, is it true, you can't add slopes in Mario Maker? Laaaaame.
