MLG Anaheim

Break time. Mango video. That was nice, except I kind of don't have the time so I'm going to miss some videos.

To be honest, it's been going worse than a usual VGBC stream. Starting late, interviews with the players before the match (doesn't look they want to do that and tbh we want to watch matches, interview them when they win like they did with Hax and Mango).

When I watch their streams on Youtube, it's fine, but their streams on their official websites always buffer and crash for me.

the stream was fine for me, it may have just been something on your end. I'd consider the youtube streams official as well since they are from nintendo, just that they use youtube instead of twitch/whatever it is they used on the website.

I may not be able to stay online much longer. It's okay, it's just pools tonight. I'll stay online as long as I can.

I have 90 minutes until I have to go so I'll miss the last few matches of pools and the crew battle.

Hopefully someone will put some videos up asap for when I get back.

Hungrybox beats Westballz 3-0. Yay hbox.

I'm done for the night. So unless someone else comes in, Crackin's just gonna be talking to himself.

I missed it but Westballz beat Mango 3-0 and apparently it was really hype. He got offered his first sponsorship too.

I came back to Mew2King v Westballz in crew battles, Westballz definitely had the crowd on his side presumably from his hype set with Mango.

This makes me happy since Westballz and aMSa are my favourite smashers. Westballz because he has that drive but he's not a total dick about (just a minor one) and he's pretty hilarious, I remember him on ZeRo's stream where he was sort of drunk where he retold his first drunken experience and I just thought he was a super chill guy. It's also really fun to watch his Red Falco. aMSa is amazing to watch because his Yoshi is so good, he punishes everyone really hard so he can make comebacks. To be honest, what holds him back the most but also makes him such a fun player is that he plays Yoshi.

Mango and PPMD livin' until over 100% on FoD during crew battles. Mango nearly 2-stocked PP but he came back somehow even though he was so far below the stage.

Crew Battle was hype.

East Coast, y u do dis? Mango just tore through those guys. He took off eight stocks. I was really pulling for East Coat.

Leffen vs. PPMD on now.

Yeah. Leffen won 3-0 iirc.

Armada's Peach man. Stomping on everyone.

Sad to see aMSa not doing so good. He's been coming so close but falling just short.

Indeed. Be use these games are bets of five, people are able to adapt to this unorthodox character. While aMSa is very good and technical player, a big part of his advantage was that people did not know the matchup. As time goes on, people are gonna start adapting. Still, aMSa has a ton of skill. Those eggs....

And Mango takes it all. Have to give Armada credit. He was doing awesome.

This tournament was great. Lot's of hype and close matches. Good night everyone.

See y'all in July at EVO.
