Next Paper Mario game (Likely on Wii U)

Bloody hell I hope so. I'm ready for a new one.

Neither am I. I'm expecting mostly info on stuff we already know about.

They're also working on Rhythm Heaven 3DS, and in the past they have been shown to be able to work on multiple games at a time.
 
Next game should be called Paper Bowser.
 
I just want a Paper Mario game where Luigi is a partner (no I do NOT count Super Paper Mario)
 
I'd scrap OC partners all together and replace em with other characters.
 
Like, say, Peach, Yoshi, Toad, Luigi, etc.?
 
That's correct. I don't hate the previous ones they created but I have no attachment towards them either.

I fully support. Partners shouldn't be limited to generic enemies that wear different outfits. Nothing against Goombella, Lakilester, etc., but I'd love someone like Luigi, Toad, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, or characters like them for a partner.
 
One thing I liked about SPM is that the main playable characters were major Mario characters. Playing as Mario Peach or Luigi? I could get behind that.

Just no Bowser. I don't trust Paper Mario with Bowser anymore.
 
How about Bowser as a side thing like what they did in Thousand-Year Door?

Though playing as other Mario characters is a novel idea I actually do kinda want in a new Paper Mario. Though there's still a bunch of generic enemies that would still make interesting partners such as Chain Chomps, Magikoopas, Buzzy Beetles, etc.
 
Eh. As long as they don't make him a dumbass again.

I want a paragoomba.

Why? It had a party, which Luigi was part of. There's really no reason not to count it.

I want him as a traditional partner who follows Mario too, but Mario & Luigi already does that and it certainly doesn't make him any less of a party member in SPM.

If it means that we will get a new Tattle partner (if one at all; Mario could just take the role) that's not a Goomba, I'll accept.

Having the Toad Brigade appear would actually be a good idea. I could see them going where Mario goes, but getting into trouble that must be solved by Mario (AKA the player).
 
Tippi was basically that.

I had an idea for a posh Paragoomba partner once, he had a top hat and monocle similar to Count Bleck, only his hat was black.

because it was a gigantic deviation from the series that's why i don't count it

If we're sticking with generic enemies I'd love a Wiggler, Chain Chomp, Dry Bones, Klepto, Goonie, any Mario birds, or maybe the odd Yurarin Boo, Pionpi, or Jō.

After the early visions of Paper Mario: Sticker Star, I could see a Chain Chomp partner working as a Koopa replacement. Out of what you said, Dry Bones and Klepto partners would be rad.
 
I could get behind Wiggler but he's kinda big.

Flutter though is small enough to work.
