If we can get randomly created characters that no one knew before, I see no reason we can't get characters that actually, y'know, exist, even if not everyone played their game.

When I first played Mario Kart 64, I only knew Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Toad and Bowser. I had no idea who the hell Wario and Donkey Kong were, but I still enjoyed the game.

But Mario & Luigi games have not the popularity of Super Mario Galaxy games. Plus the galaxy games are main games.

No they don't deserve it. They don't do anything that even remotely qualifies as ''deserving'' it.

Also this isn't like MK where the multiple variations take up space on the roster. They are just that, different colours of the same spot.

And I would much rather have them than some one off characters only a niche group of people care about.
