Pretty much everything Spielberg does except Tintin, Catch me if you can, and Lincoln
Every Marvel movie except Days of Future Past
Wait, what?
Not counting him as a producer because I do enjoy Land Before Time, Letters From Iwo Jima, and Flags of our Fathers. Just not a fan of him behind the camera that much.
Not even Jurassic Park or Jaws?
Or Roger Rabbit?

I love Roger Rabbit, but I didn't really like Jaws or Jurassic Park, the main problem I have with Spielberg is that his movies are full of characters I don't seem to care for. Didn't care for anyone in Jaws, couldn't relate to ET, Indy is a dull archeologist, didn't care for the soldiers in Private Ryan, didn't care very much for anything in The Color Purple, the people in Jurassic Park are either stupid or annoying, the guy just doesn't do much for me.

that was zemeckis, not spielberg

as for myself, I thought rise of the guardians was a waste of time, mostly because of its lackluster humor and boring villain.

And as for Marvel, I only love Days of Future Past because it was meant to be taken seriously, the action doesn't drag on, and I also feel for these characters. I wanted to like the first Hulk film for that reason, but it tried a little too hard.

a) days of future past isn't a marvel movie. sure it has marvel characters, but it's made by fox.
b) >implying other marvel movies aren't meant to be taken seriously

Robert Downey Jr plays a cocky generic full of himself millionaire, Tobey Maguire is emo, and Chris Hemsworth is cocky and bland. How am I supposed to take those seriously?

Spielberg was executive producer.

supermariofan was talking exclusively about Spielberg as a director.

most of the marvel movies aren't good for anything but action and some humor. supermariofan seems to like his movies with drama, and marvel doesn't provide that.

Also comedy...a lot of it and that seems to be the main focus for Guardians of the Galaxy.

Have you ever seen Thor: the Dark World? There's plenty of humor in that.

Only from Tom Hiddleston, the rest of the supporting characters are annoying

comedy and humor are synonyms

>no drama

cue ironman almost dying in the avengers
I meant a lot of drama, as in being the main focus of the film like anything Christopher Nolan does, Edge of Tomorrow, the new Godzilla movie, Days of Future Past, and the Lord of the Rings

fair enough

i do think that the lack of the batman-esque drama in the MCU was one of its main downfalls, it did seem to take the film a little bit too jokingly, i mean, crack a joke, hundreds of people just died

but that's really it to be honest, the rest of it was filled to the teeth with action and epicness, and the comedy did work in places, but some of it was taken a bit too lightly

omg i still haven't seen it yet

is it good?

what am i saying of course it's good

is it better than the previous one?

Jurassic Park.

Once you read about dinosaur misconceptions this movie created, everything about this movie feels stupid and out of touch with science.

Which is one reason I don't like space-type science fiction films.

The Avengers also bored me.
