Hated musical artists that you don't hate

apparently post californication chili peppers get a lot of hate

i don't get it at all

by the way was a beautiful album, stadium arcadium was great (albeit with a good bit of filler that was cool at first but got old quick), and even though i'm with you was pretty disappointing, monarchy of roses, raindance maggie, and brendan's death song were all pretty great

I guess alternative rock that funky isn't very popular. I don't get the hate, I'm listening to one of their first songs ever from their self-titled album.

eh their first three albums didn't really appeal to me.

i guess there were a couple songs i liked (Real Men Don't Kill Coyotes and Fight Like a Brave most notably) but really i don't care for much pre mother's milk. Even then, I can't understand all the critical acclaim that Blood Sugar Sex Magik got. Yeah, it had Under the Bridge and Breaking the Girl, but that's about all I cared for. I'd take By the Way, Californication, One Hot Minute, or Stadium Arcadium over that any day.

To be fair though, you don't just have to hate them for their music. I don't hate anyone because of their music because I understand that if they weren't good at it they probably wouldn't have any fans. I hate musical artists generally because of their attitude and what they do outside their career.
