What are your favorite movies?

First off: my undisputable all-time favourite movie is Back to the Future II

Here are some close contenders (in no particular order):

The other Back to the Future movies
The Dark Knight
Shutter Island
Inception
The Truman Show <--Used to be my favorite movie but over time the BttF series has grown onto me more.
Cast Away
Contact
Interstellar

And here are some not-so close contenders that I still like a lot.

Cloud Atlas
Star Trek (2009)
Enter the Void

Added Enter the Void to honorary mentions, because that movie had some of the most amazing cinematography i have ever seen.

Other than that it was also really painful to watch (mainly because of the general theme of the movie (sex and drugs and death), its length and all those crazy blinking neon lights) yet visually stunning

would only recommend if you're in for some serious mindfuck.
