Pokédex entries yes but unfortunately not the names, there are six languages for Pokémon names: English • Japanese • German • French • Korean • Chinese
Most countries from Europe who are not France and Germany use English names.

oh

my mom told me what she thought the italian name for pikachu was and I thought it was official
the reason I don't turn it on italian is because I mainly understand english and french

it saved before the whole bishop's trials stuff

and i died in the stage after it

and while redoing all of it i went game over again and just got really pissed.

The actually reason is that Freakworld realized he was spending his free time playing Sonic '06 and couldn't fathom as to why he would bother wasting his weekend doing so.

Yup that'll do it lol

When people warn people playing Sonic 06 blind they'll sometimes say to make sure to save and save often to avoid frustration. Cause unlike MOST games at the time (The Adventure games had it, you automatically make a product seem alot worse if you don't even have the basic functions of games you're trying to replicate. Especially when those games have been around for 7 years at the time) it didn't have an Autosave.

If you had game overed on the very first level you would of had to replay the opening cutscene and go through the rings again and everything too unless you saved after getting the shoes from the shop necessary to reach the first level.

No autosave (Aside from when completing levels) is definitely one of the many negatives about Sonic 06 to contribute to it's terribleness.
