Pain tolerance just measures your ability to ignore pain though. It won't make your injuries less severe, it just means it's easier for you to retain your composure while suffering from them.

but you're assuming you'll go to the christian version of hell. what if you end up in the greek underworld and they sentence you to one of those things where you have to push a boulder up a hill for eternity or another customized punishment?
