Which Super Mario Bros. 2 are we talking about, here? USA or The Lost Levels?

In any case, the only one of those games I've played that wasn't the least bit impressed with was the first Mario Party. All the others, I either enjoy or, I'm pretty indifferent about them.
 
Pokaymon probably aged the worst, but it's not fair to say that they suck.

I'm gonna be honest, the original Pokémon games did have tons of problems with balance and such and way more glitches than games that started development in 1991 should have had, but to say that they sucked is just ridiculous.

Seriously? These games are great classics. I was shock to see MP1 up there, I love that game. But if I had to say one, it'd be Kirby's Dreamland.
 
Are you kidding me? None of these games suck, you just can't think any game that didn't come out in the 21st century is good, which is a really bad assumption. Stop acting like an 8-year old.

I think that Mario Party (2 and 3) (< 5 and 6 and 7) and Super Mario 64 (< DS) and Super Smash Bros (< Melee and Brawl) and Mario Kart N64 (< GCN/DS/Wii/3DS/Wii U) were good games, at least for their time. I can't think of any more good games for their time mostly because I haven't experienced them (I'd rather play old board games than any NES/SNES/GB/GBC game other than Super Mario Kart)
 
All of the games on the poll were good for their time. :-\

Azuza Nakano wins 20$ from Aiko Heiwa because I've played the original Donkey Kong through Brawl masterpieces and Super Mario Bros 1/2 on one of my friends' Wii once.

So playing a 30 second version of the NES port of Donkey Kong that starts at the level 75m and is inferior to the original arcade version of the game as it's missing the entire second level of the game and several animations from the arcade version counts as "having played it"?

IMO, that's an awful analogy.

A better analogy would be older movies and their dated techniques of filming and special effects.
