He's better as a villain in Mario Party.

But, I think Donkey Kong is the true villain, especially in Mario Party 8.
 
I disagree, though I will say he's very entertaining in MP.

Well, to sum it up, DK gives people free stars, usually.

Which can be problem if you're duking it solo against crappy CPU players.
 
Clearly he does it just to watch people fight over them.
 
Mario Party 10 seems to break Bowser's curse of being non-playable. At least the Bowser Party Mode.

Perhaps he would be playable in a non RPG,Spinoff or Smash Bros someday in the future.
 
I'm hoping for the Luigi's mansion treatment myself.

I know that this is not what you meant,but it will be unexpected if Bowser took Luigi's position, searching for Boos to capture.
It would be akward for Bowser to be scared of the ghosts he rules over.

I think a Bowser game would center on combat, he could fight numerous enemies that are Goomba-zise and fight behemoths.
 
Pretty sure Wario did that already with wario world.
 
Probably. Though only genre this series hasn't done is rts and a first person shooter (though it has done a rail shooter)

And dating sim but lets not go there.

Then again there is swoon.exe.....
 
I don't think this series has done any sandbox games either

nor an MMORPG

...hell there's a whole bunch of genres this series hasn't touched

We have Reggie! for that which, in comparison, probably makes Mario Maker have the same amount of customization as a hotel room.
 
MK8 has mainly Bowser related characters.
Smash Bros has Bowser jr added with 7 koopaling alts.
Mario Party 10's biggest mode involves Bowser as its focus.

I don't think Wario would care if a Bowser game used it. He no longer does that and the game is probably underrated.
 
Oh definitely. It would be marketed towards early years kids. The plot is abour how Bowser uses his amusement park to bring naughty little children there and using scary rides to teach them convoluted and outdated moral lessons.
