Mr. L imo would be more suited as a story mode NPC like those recolored Koopa Kids

Because its just an alt costume of Luigi. Look I don't really want Salvo in but the idea of something with no arms or legs playing Mario Party is frankly hilarious.
 
What would be more hilarious to me would be Bowser promoted to fully playable. I mean he's playable in Kart and sports games, why not Mario Party? They could easily make new villains for Mario Party if need be, but I think Bowser deserves to be playable with the rest of the core cast. Same goes for DK, I think Rosalina should take over the helpful NPC slot. Then maybe she could become playable too while a new NPC takes over that role... Wouldn't that be fun?
 
Bowser's too big.
 
He's still like 3 times the size of everyone else on average. And thats not even getting into MP10 where they super-sized him.

But baring certain earlier games, he's never been THAT small. Thats why Koopa kid and Bowser jr have been playable when he wasn't.
