If it's any consolation, your brother lost his first hole back in Mario Golf 64, and he had to go up against some of those weird people who only played sports and did nothing else in the series. <shudders>

I first thought it was a flower but wiki writers called it a bonnet and I think it makes more sense.

I still prefer lower-case m though

Baby Luigi did absolutely nothing to deserve that.
 
Except being an asshole Mario Kart racer in the first place, who probably was responsible for a Spiny Shell, Thunderbolts, littering on the racetrack, leaving behind bouncing Koopa Shells, and throwing out Bloopers on his own.
