In a contest for the render with the worst technical flaw, who'd win?

the photoshop one is not a fair one (nor is it a "goof") because no one is seeing that paintover in the relatively low resolutions that art is printed on. also photoshop jobs are done VERY often on these renders, retouching them to maybe improve the shadows, cover up texture seams, clipping coverup,, improve contrast; rarely do renders come out immediately ready for distribution to press kits. you'll see paintover in practically all mario party 4 art especially around the fingers and mouth (mario kart 8's art of baby luigi has his mouth painted on too)

anyway you're wrong. some more blatant examples of little goofs.

my personal favorite of technical goofs is this one, particularly the reflection of Mario's face off the Red Fire

i recall donkey kongs render for the mario rabbbids kindgom battle dlc also actuall had the fur detail rendered flatly and then entirely painted over so if you zoom in you see a lot of little brushstrokes. which looks way better than when they actually try to render fur like with some other characters (ie rabbid kong) lmao
also uh these mario sunshine renders that seemed to just use the ingame model with higher quality textures and then also painted over it most notably the hands
 
please, the male goombas need a 5 o clock shadow, the hair of a balding man, and a masculine hip shape. how else do we know it's male? looks ambiguous to me otherwise

not fond of the trope of "male animal doesn't need to present as any gender but female version needs to be all feminine"
