How about something opposite to Rosalina. Rosalina is time and space in a way, how about a male equivalent that controls Matter, Antimatter, and Negative Matter?
I support this. Hopefully he'll have an interesting personality, backstory, and powers.

Rosalina's brother is the new character I want to see. If he was like that, that would be awesome. And he needs a Zuma army.

He could be someone Rosalina imprisoned away in a pocket of endless time thousands of years ago to protect the universe. But after Bowser nearly destroyed the universe and Rosalina was forced to reset it her hold on him was broken and he escaped his prison. Now he returns and swears revenge on Rosalina and the planet she loves dear.

Seeking an army he finds Bowser and Jr. and commands their loyalty and resources. After Bowser angrily and mockingly declines his offer he effortlessly defeats Bowser and teleports him and his son out of his kingdom. After that he now commands the Koopa Army who fearingly obeys after seeing their master so easily defeated.

After being humiliated and seeing his army has been taken over, Bowser makes his way to Peach's castle where he abruptly makes his way into. with the Mario Bros. on scene prepared for a fight Bowser insteads tells them what happened and reluctantly asks for a truce until he can regain control of his army and destroy the one that banished and humiliated him.

These guys were pretty back at selecting Zelda characters for Hyrule Warriors, they'd probably be at it for Super Mario Warriors too.

No, seriously this is sounding like the worst kind of fan fiction right now. Also you don't need to have Bowser have his army stolen from him, you want to have a new badguy fine but for fuck sakes leave Bowser out of it. He's the main villain of the franchise, he doesn't need to get pushed around by every shmuck that walks on stage.

You say this, but it also goes both ways. I don't see you complaining about the exact same thing happening to Antasma.

Because the reverse has only happened one time, where as Bowser losing his army and castle has happened about three times now.

Besides, Antasma was a really lame villain anyhow.

Subjective. I liked him.

Will you please stop saying that? I've told you many *bleep*ing times now that I DON'T CARE. If you are going to actually argue a counter point then actually *bleep*ing make one. Everytime somebody says that its like they can't actually give a good reason why they have their opinion.

So yes, Antasma was a bland one note villain who had nothing going for him other than talking with the letter V. The most famous thing he ever did was get manipulated by Bowser which is frankly hilarious.

There's really nothing more to it. Some people liked the character. I do think he could have used more screentime and development, but overall he's a cool character. What really made me like him more was seeing how cruddy he was treated in the game. Most RPGs with new villains don't overshadow Bowser. Think of TTYD, when did Grodus ever overshadow Bowser? SPM, SMRPG and BIS had him playable, and Superstar Saga...well I guess he kind of got the shaft there. Perhaps PIT as well, but he had time to shine in that game too.

In Dream Team, Bowser completely overshadowed Antasma the moment he came into the story in a way that even the other game with a betrayal (SPM) didn't do. I like Bowser in the RPGs but I don't want him to overshadow the new villains they introduce because that's likely their only time to shine. He had PLENTY of time to shine in Sticker Star (although that incarnation of him was meh) so I think we should've gotten a new final boss for the first time since BIS. But let's not derail this topic any more. To make this on-topic why not have Antasma appear in this, if it becomes a thing?

Uh, yeah they generally did over shadow him, hell most games where he wasn't the villain the games treat him like a second banana loser who is a minor inconvenience at best, which is complete horse shit.

Antasma was a boring one note villain and had nothing going for him, being tossed aside by Bowser was the best thing that could have happened to him.

As for why he wouldn't appear in this theoretical game, well like I said earlier, there would most likely be about 15 characters at best which would be filled up by the usual spin off characters.

You were oppose to this idea from the getgo before anything so at this point and time I'm not going to take your opinion into consideration. Either try to add to the idea, or make your own because you've been doing nothing but rejecting anyones ideas.

Considering how I surprisingly enjoyed Hyrule Warriors, I wouldn't mind seeing this. As long as there's proper plot

Dynasty Warriors doesn't really focus on the plot anyway

Sounds totally like a Dynasty Warriors plot, though.

I hope we don't get Shia characters in this game, though. Unless we get the opportunity to kick their giant asses, but yeah.

Bowser and his army invade various locations, the spin off regulars join forces to take him down, throw in amusing interactions between the characters that show case their personalities. Its simple and doesn't rely on any stupid fanfiction OCs.

There, thats my idea, love it, hate it, I don't care.

He must have a better army this time if the characters need to join forces.

Considering his army was apparently large enough to conquer the entire cosmos in Galaxy I don't think it will be a problem.

Besides, its Mario, it will alter just about anything to suit the gameplay or scenario.

I don't think Shia is big in her rear end...

True this. Miyamoto has stated that Mario and co. are actors. For all we know, the Mario cast could be redesigned to fit in feudal Japan (which would be awesome).

Wasn't his army in galaxy shared with King Kalamari's? (Whatever his name is) Because I was sure that Bowser didn't rule over Octoombas. Or maybe that's just headcanon.

I never thought of it this way. I just considered the Octoombas and their leaders to be on Bowser's army.

Yes yes now I'm getting Next Level Games vibe for some reason.
