How do you like your Smash Bros.?

If I feel like doing a chaotic battle, here are my rules

10 minutes
300 damage battle
2.0 damage ratio
Fast speed
Spicy Curry battle
Giant Battle
Bomb and fire based items only
Any stage besides PictoChat (it freezes my game)
 
A year or so ago I would just do three random CPU's on level 5 on a random stage but recently I almost never do free for alls. I just enjoy 1v1 a lot more now. Any stage is fine. No Items.
 
That is basically my skill level when I play brawl or project m. I'm not great at brawl and the cpu's in project m are a little rougher than brawl's.
 
Melee:
Giant Melee
Dommage ratio *0.5
No items
Hyrule Temple

Brawl:
Normal or Giant
All items or mushrooms only
Warioware stage

You probably should do something about PictoChat's freezing your game.
 
brawl:
3 lives
no items
stages: final destination, hyrule castle, halberd, luigi's mansion, corneria, fire emblem, isle delfino, and a couple other stages

Level 9's in Melee are too amusing

three random level 5 cpus
generally random stage, though in Brawl 75m, Mario Bros, and Hanenbow are switched off
 
I'm surprised people actually play against Level 5. We play usually level 3 or level 9.

We would play against Brawl Level 9 if they weren't so cheap

The ones in the 3DS version of the game are much better
 
3DS ones aren't perfect though. I did find them going for me a couple of times for no real reason.

I do occasionally play against level 8 if I'm not in the mood to thrash Diddy Kong.

The only reason I would go lower than that is if someone else is playing.

Eh, I don't really care about PictoChat. However, I can't beat the Subspace Emmisary because it freezes at a certain level.

I had similar problems before. The game stopped reading my disc if I tried selecting Pit or Pokaymon Trainer. I mailed the Wii to Nintendo and they gave me a new Wii and a new copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, free of charge.

And sometimes Norfair freezes which sucks because I like that stage.
 
I'm pretty sure your Wii couldn't read the dual-layered disc
 
Threek's stupid house rules:

- 5 stock
- no time limit
- healing items on lowest setting
- most stages are fair game except for ones that scroll or have haphazard platform layout (like hannenbow or new pork city)
