I don't know either (it's called Auto-Healer Badge or something if you want to know), but it definitely feels pretty op.

Though I could've sworn you were using it (or a variation of it) the other day, I can swap it out if you want.

EDIT: That deflection of the tree with the cape was the best thing, I didn't even know you could do that with Mario.
