I'm going to point out that the Nipper Plant with the weird dental situation was one of the first things posted in this chat.
 
It has come a long way. Weird to think that I was actually around when it started.

well, if Mario & Luigi artwork mean anything, Mario's mouth will get removed and then it'll be replaced, so Mario is fine.

I dunno, it's not quite OH GOD terrible and I feel bad for criticizing it as I'm sure the artist put effort into it.

But that face is just not good.

Hmmmm....

I think the snout is actually same, but it's the body angling that's bad. It'll actually look better if you crop off the bottom half. The entire jaw needs to have more volume too, needs some plumping, IMO.
 
Really I just wish it wasn't the same pose.

If you're gonna draw new artwork, why do the same pose?
 
Or they could've enhanced its quality.

That would've been better, because that's a nice pose.
