I don't know if this was posted before, but I still can't get over how off-putting this is.

His voice is pretty good though.

When I have seen the Mario in Real Time, I realised that this version is based on the 3D model. I do agree that it's off-putting, and if you ask me why, I think it's due to:
1) Mario looking wider than he normally looks
2) This Mario doesn't have much sideburns
3) When Mario opens his mouth, his face did not stretch normally
4) Eyes have a much tinier white dot compared to how Mario normally looks
5) Moustache looks odd (I think it looks blockier)

I think the days of using Mario's head is behind us, since it's now technologically possible to render Mario with his full body. Even the recent Mario-related videos uses Mario's entire body! I am grateful for that.
