project m (pre-install) woes

ok so i'm getting project m like right now for my wii (i have a wii u but screw that noise) and this bit kinda confuses me:

3. b) If you downloaded the zip file, unzip the file and open thefolder that comes out. Install the files to the rootof your SD Card with the installer. There is no need to change the order.

i'm doing the zip file, but how do i.. 'install' the files to the root of the sd card?

one other thing:

4. Make sure that Gameconfig.txt is on the root of your SD card.

...i assume this is PART of the files i'm currently downloading

edit: i also do not see background.png so uh...?

what is background.png? do you mean icon.png?
