Do I have a legal right to my own money?

So I've pretty much gave up on that plushie now.

But I found a much cheaper commission for figures on DeviantART. $35 plus shipping for a Fawful figure. I worked it out with my mom. Shipping, according to this person's page, was $4. So my mom agreed to put $39 into my bank account.

Person says that shipping will actually be $6. I think "Surely my mom will agree to a quick change in plans... $2 isn't that big of a difference...right?"

NOPE. She blatantly refuses to add any more money into my account. Got me so mad that an old lady asked me what was wrong. I was THIS close to a smooth deal with no problems. Then my FUCKING STUPID mother decides "Nope, I won't let him do anything without causing needless conflict. I am going to refuse, despite 2 dollars being FUCKING NOTHING."

I'm done with this shit. I told her I'm taking all my money and never letting her touch any of it again.
dude

chillax

it's a figurine

it ain't worth flying off the rails and making really rash/poor economic choices over

Just let it go.

Sorry you cant get your fawful thingy but like anton said you cant just blow your money on these things

I'd hate for you to turn out like that other autistic guy.

Also, like, there's always going to be people who do commissions so it's not like you *have* to get it right away...

And who is that? I hope its not me

I think Etsy has a bunch of them but i might be wrong

Or you could just cancel/postpone the order until you do get the money. (I hope you haven't already made a commitment to buy).

I typically have a hell of a hard time finding them. Especially for a good price.
doesn't really matter

would you rather spend all your money on impulse purchases, or save your money so you'll have enough for stuff you actually need? chances are it's the latter, so I don't really think you should be blowing it off on a little figurine.

((oh this reminds me that I owe my friend 6 bucks so thanks for this))

Pretty sure he's talking about Chris-chan.

AKA the guy who sprayed fucking mace in a GameStop employees eyes because Sonic's arms are blue in Sonic Boom.

You can't expect your mother (I'm guessing she's your conservator?) to let you spend your NEET bucks on things that aren't food, water, and shelter. If she lets you buy anything else, IMO you should be grateful. Even though you're disabled, it might be possible to get a job. Once you're bringing in money you've earned, maybe your mother will find the idea of letting you buy luxury items more palatable.
