Oh no they'll probably pull a black 2/white 2 and release lunar eclipse/solar eclipse

Or they'll just skip to the next gen like it seems they did with x and y

I was almost thinking Pokemon Earth. But Pokemon Eclipse would be a pretty cool name if there's a 3rd game for this.

I'm honestly hoping this isn't gen 7, or if it is then we have a pokemon g/s situation where we get a new region but also get to explore kalos after beating the elite 4

We still have volcanion and zygarde's formes to include in the game so i think these'll probably be sequels and maybe it'll be something like gen 6.5

i guess it's a pipe dream now but i was hoping we'd get to explore past kalos in pokemon z, oh well

For me, it isn't because it's not worth it, but it's because I have school then.

I really hope the new Pokemon games are still on the 3DS and, more importantly, that they DO. NOT. HAVE. ANY. MICROTRANSACTIONS.

Calling it now: Pokémon Sun will have Lunatone as an exclusive Pokémon, whilst Pokémon Moon will have Solrock as an exclusive Pokémon.

If that's the case, I think they'll have Mega Evolutions.

And their respective Mega Stones (let's face it; it's going to happen) are in the other version. Why? Because fuck you, that's why.

Or you could get the Pokemon and their stones in the same version if you preorder it. And if you didn't hear about the games in time to preorder them, then LIFE ISN'T FAIR! Honestly, the more I think about what Nintendo might do with the games, the angrier I get.

I was hoping we'd get more time before the next generation. I hope they do something unique with it, such as putting it on the NX rather than 3DS (which would actually make heaps of sense from a marketing standpoint because Pokémon is a huge system seller)

Would also like to see the whole Day/Night cycle thing from GSCHGSS make a return because that was great and makes a lot of sense given the names

Maybe it will feel like Gen 6.5 and you'll visit Kalos post game like Gen II did with Kanto. Still a new gen, but one closely tied to the last one.
