I would probably go with Soleil if her support with male Kamui wasn't so messed up. It's also really fucking stupid how she's bisexual but isn't a bisexual option for Kamui. Thankfully localisation might fix her so I could possibly switch to her. I'm pretty sure Treehouse already said they're changing her support for the localisation so that's a step.

Well ive read it and its kinda disappointing in ways but i can live with it, but luckily its said that even with the changes its still pretty good so thats the most important thing in my book.

lol the feature was ridiculous and the 'b-b-but it's optional!' argument doesn't dismiss the fact that it existing in the first place is enough to turn people off from the game, so it seems nintendo cut it entirely to avoid that conflict

good riddance tbh

honestly hoping that localising fates has encouraged nintendo to take a better approach to the next FE game in regards to character writing and story.

I can understand some of the people who are a little miffed, it was the part of the game that had most of the plot-irrelevant character's voice acting and for Conquest it's the only way outside of grinding streetpass battles to build support points without much effort. and the idea of having a section of the game cut out without replacement is a little sketch, though if they do replace it with something better that'd be sweet.

and some people just want to rub faces.

also kotaku said it so lol who knows whether it's even true or not.

actually knowing that conquest will be a bit harder without that option is pretty great
although yeah, it'd be better if there were some kind of trade-off

so long as we can still customise units with silly accessories idc

Pegasus Warrior is now Sky Knight (this one seems like a strange change)
Lance Fighter is now Spear Fighter
Niles' capture skill is now called Kidnap lmao
Bowman is now Archer
Yuugiri is now Reina (

Saizou and Kagerou lost their u's (lol)

ProJared did some gameplay of one of the Conquest maps, Gamexplain did of one of the Birthright maps I believe. Still no word of a pal release date @_@

I'm not too sad to see it go, I was never going to use the feature. I guess other people may have liked it, and it does suck for them even though it's simply creepy to me. But imagine how awkward it would be to voice act that shit.

There's a character page on the website now, Benoit was changed to motherfuckin Benny. Pieri is Peri, Lazward is Laslow. Puppeteer got changed to Mechanic.

Also this name for one of the child characters:

oh an Eponine is Nina

also apparently it says that Jakob is generally cool towards others? that blows, looks like they ditched the 'asshole to everybody but Kamui' personality and made him generic.

oh my god this is the first time i've had a proper look at the characters (i only glanced over that character list posted a long while back) and jakob isn't even my favourite design

Eponine is now Nina. I liked Eponine better it was a pretty name. Hopefully this doesn't mean they're changing Soleil's name.
