I will give Vanilla Lake 2 a 6. This was a huge improvement from Vanilla Lake 1 and it is a top 5 SNES track. This track had the Vanilla Lake unlike the first.

1/10, worst Super Mario Kart track. The ice bricks are so annoying, snow makes driving hard, and the water really punishes you.

I will give Rainbow Road a 9! This is the track that started the Rainbow Road tradition. It is such a rewarding effort on SNES especially when you're done dealing with the boring tracks. Hands down, it is the best SNES track out there, and it is on 4 Mario Karts (SNES, GBA*, 3DS, U**) The 3DS version will be another day. It is also a good test for ones that have a hard time on edges, it helps drivers try to stay on the track.

*=GBA retro tracks are all SNES tracks, will not be covered.
**=Part of DLC, will not be covered.

it's not frustrating at all, it's just dull

well it is hell to triple star in super circuit but coupled with other tracks in special cup makes it even harder to triple star.

and really, did it deserve to return once more in mario kart 8? NO.
