how is the name buffalo "offensive and racist"
 
a huffington post article mentioned it but I can't find it for some reason to get the exact wording, but it was something like that the city of Buffalo comes from the bison which white people hunted to/near extinction, just like they did to native americans

There's no news articles online as of yet, but Ontario teachers have started Phase 1 of their strike. No assignment/report card comments (you'll still get a mark), no EQAO (reading/writing/math testings for Grades 3, 6, and 9) at the end of the year, and no planned tests.
They could go into full strike "if necessary".

EDIT: also there were no online news articles of this either but i witnessed the event myself while at yogurty's with my friends so i can be backed up
basically two guys robbed our local rbc, and proceeded to walk across the huge parking lot (takes well over a minute to get from the bank to the other site by walking) to their getaway car
yeah they didn't stand a chance against the police lol

this reminds me of one time somebody used a jcb to dig a massive hole out of the wall of a nearby bank and then ran out of petrol
