E3 2015 Hopes and Speculation

so as part of youtube's e3 coverage, they're having a nintendo half-hour on monday featuring 'new live game demos, interviews and updates Sunday night’s Nintendo World Championships.'
http://gonintendo.com/stories/235766-youtube-at-e3-2015-nintendo-half-hour-showing-on-monday-2-30-p

makes me wonder if there'll be any new games pre-digital event or whether this'll be new footage for announced games or what

I expect a new game to be revealed during the championships and later detailed in this event.

If there's going to be games announced pre-E3 on Monday...then on that day, I'm going to stay off this site, my e-mails and Wikipedia and just watch the Digital Event to find out myself, because the Roy and Ryu confirmation pre-Direct pretty much killed the surprise for me.

yeah tbh starting tomorrow until after the digital event im probably just gonna stop using the internet. theres already been enough leaks, i dont want to see any more >.>
i'll probably still watch this thing though. i doubt nintendo themselves would purposefully 'spoil' something from their own presentation.

That and it's not just Nintendo, but also Microsoft, Ubisoft and Sony on Monday...EA I don't give two shits about despite enjoying Mass Effect 3

This is going to be a busy week

-Nintendo NX Reveal

wow i dont get why people keep saying this. nintendo's said like a hundred times that nx isn't gonna be at e3 :\
^this
iwata has said the reason why he's taking care of his health instead of going to E3 this year is because there's no new hardware to show, and after yesterday's huge reveals, anyone expecting more smash dlc to be unveiled is also setting themselves up for the same level of disappointment

however, because all of the smash stuff is out of the way, i wonder what the digital event will showcase? we seem to have had two games already announced at the NWC2015 thing - Mother 1 and BlastBall so it seems like they've got a lot to show off

rhythm heaven fire emblem if animal crossing u mother 3 new tomodachi life

like i said earlier in the thread, the fact that they've had all these pre-show things (direct, smash stuff, etc.) has made me think that basically everything in the digital event is gonna be new stuff. for predictions, i'd say star fox is a safe bet, but after that who knows? there's lots of possibilities

My Predictions for Nintendo
- Star Fox Wii U kicks off the conference. Single player and multiplayer are both shown off. It comes out this holiday.
- Super Mario Maker is shown. A recap is given from the NWC, a new trailer is shown, and the special amiibo that got leaked is announced to launch in a bundle with the game. The game and amiibo are announced to launch on September 11th, and by the end of June the game's release date is changed by somewhere between a day and a week.
- Paper Mario Wii U is confirmed. The game's new mechanic revolves around origami, and the game is set to launch in early 2016.
- Mario Strikers Wii U is happening. It is once again developed by Next Level Games. It will launch at the end of the year.
- A remake of Sunshine is confirmed to be happening for Wii U. It will be released on the e-Shop this winter.
- Blast Ball is shown off again. It will release by the end of the year.
- A new third-party partnership is shown off.
- A new trailer is shown for Project Treasure. Details about gameplay are given. The title will launch in Fall worldwide. (Japan gets it early.)
- New details about Shin Megami Tensai X Fire Emblem are given, including a trailer. The title is still given a launch window of 2016.
- Details about Fire Emblem if are shown. Japan gets a short launch trailer while everywhere else gets a recap of details already revealed in Japan.
- Rhythm Heaven: The Best Plus is confirmed for a worldwide release. A trailer is shown. The game will release by the end of the year.
- Yoshi's Woolly World gets a short presentation. The game and amiibo will release in North America on August 14th, 2015.
- We get a third-party reel.
- We get an indie reel almost immediately after.
- Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is shown off. Details about interacting with other players are revealed. After a new trailer, a new announcement is confirmed.
- Animal Crossing Wii U is happening and will release in Spring of 2016. The game features more content, new multiplayer features, and at least one new location to travel to.
- The leaked Animal Crossing amiibo figures are shown off. Their functionality is explained. In the Wii U game, they give boosts to the player. For example, the Maple amiibo gives discounts at the Able Sisters. There is a limit to how many times you can use these amiibo.
- A new Diddy Kong Racing is shown off for Wii U. It is led my Monster Games with assistance from Retro Studios.
- The next installments in the Metroid franchise are shown off. Both a Wii U and 3DS Metroid game, 3D and 2D respectively, are being developed and will be released in 2016. The biggest news is that the Wii U version is being co-developed by Platinum Games and Retro Studios. Retro and another company are making the 3DS version.

Oh fudge, I just realized I can't catch Nintendo's Digital Event.

I have a drama rehearsal that day, rip.

When the full thing is uploaded to Youtube, someone send me the official Nintendo channel video of it, I'd appreciate that.

probably the biggest thing was the annoucement of (limited) backwards compatibility, everything else was meh

if the ps4 does the same then i'll definitely have a good reason to buy a ps4, i need no man's sky (and mortal kombat x)

for honor is perhaps the most stupid game name ive seen in while
