Picked up my 3-pack at GS today. I give 0 shits about Amiibo cards. ROB is so detailed and godly and ugh he's so amazing.

ugh i could've gotten g&w today but i decided against it in favour of finally getting splatoon + mario maker

In terms of weight, his standard pose, judge pose, and bell pose are definitely the lightest amiibos, next to Wii Fit and Sheik, which shouldn't be a surprise considering how thin his pieces are (less than half a centimeter), with his parachute pose being slightly heavier. His pieces snap together into the base easy and stay in there pretty good. My only complaint with him is that he's a fingerprint magnet because of his plain black color, but he's great otherwise.

I'm kind of surprised that ROB is pretty light and duck hunt is the heaviest of the the three.

Now I wait for Mewtwo and Lucas and any other dlc characters that interest me, amiibo-wise.

Target hid him in the back, I had to hunt him down. I didn't see any of the new guys in Kmart or EB which was really strange, and Target only had the one G&W and Gunner on the shelf.

i think most aussie retailers hide the new amiibos for a few days, or at least restrict access to them. both stores i went to had the new amiibos behind the counter so you couldn't actually grab them

i remember finding it really odd that nowhere had doc, olimar, or jr. when that wave came out, but then a few days later i couldn't stop finding them (even now lol)

maybe it's the same deal

Picked up my pre-order yesterday. They all look great.

Also my GameStop only had two out in the open. Guess not many wanted them over here.

So now there is a Resetti and Blathers amiibo confirmed, both of which I need to get along with Tom Nook. God help me if they announce Gulliver, Pascal, Brewster, Shrunk, or Frillard amiibos...

i think that if they announce more amiibos they'll only be for the rest of the characters in Mario Maker: Rover, Celeste, Kapp'n, Kicks, and Timmy and Tommy

which is sad because i need a brewster amiibo in my life

e: I went to at least six different stores today before I found a single G&W I could buy, while the rest of the wave was still heavily stocked omg

probably one of my favourite amiibos, his poses are great
