post any random Mario thought on your mind

But in Rayman Origins/Legends, the enemies actually look like they're hitting Rayman.

I have a feeling that the next Mario game will be depressing because Nintendo's president sadly passed away. It will probably include a memory of Satoru Iwata in it's credits. I can't see Nintendo not doing it. In fact the other Nintendo games are likely to do it too.

Don't remember them doing one for Yokoi or Yamauchi, but in those cases, the deaths were after they left the company.

I could see them doing that.

Most likely not. The most they'd do with Iwata would probably make a single level memorial dedicated to him or add "In memory of Satoru Iwata" in the credits.

Hell I think the games currently in development right now will add it in their credits (Mario & Luigi, Mario Tennis, and Mario Maker)

I've actually expected a "In memory of Yamauchi" in some of the later games, but I was a bit disappointed that I didn't see it.

They probably wouldn't make a depressing game, but they would probably put a statement about Satoru Iwata in the credits.

If only I got to knew about him sooner. But he is a reason of why I took interest of what was going on in the Nintendo company.

To add some Mario elements to my post, I am thinking of what if there will be a Diddy Kong racing 2 like the rumors are saying. Also I am hoping for a future Mario game to have more Super Mario World related material.

If Bowser doesn't say ''showtime'' in Paper Jam I will be very disapointed.

I don't think he will

on a side note, I hope I don't sound crazy by saying that I have a squish on Baby Luigi.

Well he said it in DT (although in text not voice) so it's possible.

And squish?

I remembered that when I got a grasp on battle theory, then looking at Mario Party 3, I realised that Reverse Mushroom is the best item in that game. Basically, the Reverse Mushroom it so versatile since there are so many uses, and the fact that it's so cheap made it all the more useful as an emergency item.

Thanks for reading.

Well, it's basically a crush without the romantic and sexual attraction, which is something I definitely DO NOT have for people, much less fictional characters, much even less Baby Luigi. Some people admit to have crushes on fictional characters, that's fine I guess. I see Baby Luigi as really great imaginary buddy of some sort. I hope I'm not considered psychologically broken, I just intensely like him.

That's not to say I really don't like my friends either. At least they're real, that's the biggest, most important quality they have over Baby Luigi. And I'd feel more if I lost actual people than Baby Luigi.

I really don't understand why they removed it at all. I found it extremely useful as well.

If I were to guess, it's either the difficulty in designing maps with the Reverse Mushroom in mind, or the fact that the Reverse Mushroom is really versatile as to be unbalanced. I know both problems can be worked around a bit, but I think those two reasons might contribute to its omission.

Thanks for reading.

No, designing maps with the Reverse Mushroom is simple: if they come across a point of no return, the turn simply ends there, similar to how Mario Party 7 handled the broken bridges in Pagoda Peak due to Bowser Time.

I'm pretty sure it could be unbalanced. Imagine having a conjunction of a Boo House AND a reverse mushroom. Or a static star space and a Reverse Mushroom like in Faire Square.

Just to be fair, you still need to have the coins left to do a second Boo steal, especially a Star Steal. Well, I guess you can do a coin steal (which usually nets around 20ish coins?) and then get a Star Steal, so lol.

I think I have a squish on Mario, by the way. Yeah, a lot of people already know how much I like him, but I do think "squish" describes my feeling toward him.

So squish equals big fanboy/fangirl of a character?

Makes sense.

Pretty much. It's like a platonic crush.

No one squishes on Bowser more than me then.

At least around here.

Bowser does the squishing around here, no questions asked

He wishes to squish the world under his foot.

Mario apparently crushes though...

And Luigi crushes three times as more.

they're about as useful as buck-teeth.

seriously, they're too short to have any actual function.

Just how sentinent are Bob-ombs? In some games they are weapons yet King Bob-omb and the Bob-ombs from the RPG games are like people, yet I don't know how canon are the RPG's to the main games.
