So, there is this new Mario tennis game. It will be for the Wii U and will be released Holiday 2015. Discuss.
 
I wanted a sports game. I got a fucking sports game.
 
This was officially the best part of the direct

Now I'm hoping Baby Luigi makes it in this playable
 
We got Tennis, that's nice but I was sure hoping for another Strikers.

I haven't played a Mario Tennis game since 2004, when I had Mario Tennis 64.
 
I have a soft spot for Mario Tennis so I'll get it. They didn't really show much though, the mega mushroom thing looks mega gimmicky but we'll see how that pans out.
 
I was wanting a new Strikers or a new Mario sports series (like Lacrosse), but I'm happy we got something out of this direct. We already have a Mario Tennis on 3DS, but its roster is, uh, fairly disappointing, but it did have Metal Mario, Luma, and it at least had Bowser Jr. and Diddy Kong this time around....
 
Sounds too much like Smash Bros., I guess, but can you come with a better name?

People missed the rpg elements.
 
but rpg mode would mean we would get a crap--- of filler human characters
 
Human characters are fine, but if they lead to a small Mario roster, that's bad.

You get stuff like Mario being an unlockable character.

Because he cherry-picks his arguments very desperately. The "OCs" and "RPGs" have to cater very specifically to his narrow conception of what a "proper" Mario RPG is. So that's why he didn't care.

Or, they're just not Fawful.
