But seriously, I think Mario Kart is a fine title the way it is. However if Nintendo makes the next entry in the series span across all Nintendo universes besides Mario's then I think maybe Mario and Nintendo all stars karting could work. (Even though I would prefer that they stick to the Mario universe. : 3)

The original name is good enough. As mentioned, changing it would make the brand confusing, since the combination of Mario and racing is strongly associated with karts, even though karts are not currently the only method of racing this time around.
