For p a prime, show that the polynomial f(X) = (X^p-1)/(X-1) is irreducible over Q[X].

I got up to 1st year calculus in university (got a B-, but most of my marks were lost in the multiple-choice midterm I had to write while suffering from swine flu and major depression: not a good time), but that was the last math credit I needed so I stopped after that, and in the 5 years since then, a lot of my skills have atrophied from lack of use.

Engineering Maths 1 in Uni was my highest class (idk what you'd call it in Americanese because it had different types of maths in it). Also gotta self educate myself for any extra stuff I need for work.

I make them myself by using this. To be able to use it to its fullest extent, one has to have basic knowledge in LaTeX.

Oh, a hint on the problem I posted: there are three terms, not all necessarily different, in the final answer.
