My first game was Super Mario 64 DS. I was too young to fully appreciate it, and I spent the first week or so of owning it outside and in the castle, running around as Yoshi (who I originally thought was named Yoshi Yoshi, simply because Lakitu said his name twice in the opening) and swimming and drowning and hopping and talking to that one Toad...
...Until one day, my sister discovered the Bob-omb Battlefield painting and I was all like "Whoa! How'd you find this?" before finding myself unable to defeat the Whomp King...yeah, we got stuck a lot. But most of the good memories made with that game was in the multiplayer, where we'd run around for hours, eating each other, sliding down slides and flying.
