Also
Worst movies of 2015:
...
35. Jurassic World
You're kidding right?

jurassic world wasnt really good compared with other movies this year tbh.

except for pixels ofc

this year has been awful for movies and mad max fury road is the only one ive seen that i really think deserves recognition

haven't seen the revenant or anomalisa yet though

2. The Hateful Eight
>rates h8ful eight as a second favorite movie of the year
>says he loves quentin tarantino
>pirates the movie as soon as it's leaked online

give tarantino some respect

the only movie I watched that came out this year was Inside Out and it was freaking amazing and they're actually back to the Pixar quality we all know and love holy crap

Didn't watch many movies this year, but the ones I did...
  • Avengers 2 was your standard fun movie, nothing mind-blowing but still pretty good.
  • Star Wars VII ended up bothering me so, so much. Maybe it's just Abrams' directing style. Who knows.
  • Ant-Man ended up being really, really funny. Possibly the funniest Marvel movie so far. I wasn't really expecting much but it ended up poking fun at a lot of the superhero movie tropes ("I think our first move should be calling the Avengers") while still being a flashy, fun movie. Plus it had Luis who was possibly the funniest character I've seen in a long time.
  • Kingsman was a weird movie. I watched it last night. It was definitely funny, but its tone was a little off (couldn't decide whether it wanted to be serious or comedic). Overall I thought it was overall pretty good even if a few things felt out of place. Also, Samuel L. Jackson with a lisp as the villain. Hilarious.
Guess that makes Star Wars 7 my least favorite and Ant-Man my favorite.

The only movie I didn't really like was Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation but work paid for me to see that so that was ok

Ones I liked:
- Inside Out
- Star Wars Ep VII
- Pitch Perfect 2
- Trainwreck
- The Dressmaker

>kingsmen and chappie and jurassic world that low
>paper towns that high
>paper towns even beating mad max

at least you put martian way up there gj

i'm sorry though i can't get behind a movie where you can cut through the canned, artificial teen "wit" floating around the movie like the smell on a dead cat with a butter knife

I'm a big romance buff, it's my favorite film genre, and Nat Wolff and Cara Delevigne have great chemistry as the film progresses, after this and The Fault in our Stars, people need to stop paying attention to all that boring, sappy, and soap opera-esque Nicholas Sparks bullshit and focus more on John Green. That guy knows how to write real chemistry more so than that motherfucker! Sorry about that but I really hate Nicholas Sparks!

I mean

What do you define as real chemistry

As far as I've seen the characters in both authors works have bullshit idealized chemistry, it's just John Green appeals to the pretentious disaffected teen demographic where as Nicholas Sparks appeals to the 30 year old soccer mom demographic

^^^^very true and they're both pretty bad tbh.

Also the fact that they both always go for the most touchy feely endings even tho....they could probably make just as good of a story without that. It's pretty annoying.

i've only seen like 2 films from 2015

i liked them both but if i had to order them:

1. inside out
2. ant man

Episode VII, Creed, and Inside-Out were probably the best movies of the year for me.

Age of Ultron and Ant-Man were both awesome as well.

>shit year

>48 "best movies"

I think he was just ranking the movies. And most of them he didn't find that good. He wasn't saying all 48 were all good.

Still, I suppose he could of made it clear like saying at least a Top 10 or if he didn't think even that many films were that good. Just a Top 5

I think it's more fun to recap every single movie I watch each year. I don't do top 10s like everyone else.

yuru yuri nachuyachumi > little witch academia 2 > inside out > love live

that's all the movies from 2015 i've seen
nachuyachumi and lwa might not count because they were ovas but

Best: Inside Out
Worst: Fantastic Four

Also Chappie was a piece of shit. I never really cared for anyone in the movie, Hugh Jackman was so generic, Die Antwoord were so annoying, and I'm not a big fan of Neill Blomkamp.
