To be fair, aside from some legendaries and "gimmicky" Pokemon, I don't think there's ever been an ability that has only been obtainable on one Pokemon or its evolutions, both normally obtainable and hidden. Of course, I might be wrong, but I'd be surprised if this ability was exclusive to this Pokemon.GalacticPetey said:It looks like the koala might be this gen's obligatory early game mammal like Rattata, Zigzagoon, Bidoof, etc. You might not need to worry about having to fight a super strong Pokemon with this ability.Oboro said:Late, but the koala's ability definitely needs to have so some sort of drawback because it honestly seems too good, especially since some abilities only prevent one type of status from occurring to the affected Pokemon while this ability prevents all status conditions except sleep.
About time we got some of the Zygarde forms. IIRC, the only form we have yet to see in-game now is the Zygarde core (the blob thing).
I was thinking this exact same thing too, which would make Hypnosis a bit more useful if this Pokemon were ever to become viable in some shape. I wonder if touching a Pokemon with Effect Spore would automatically make it fall asleep too.Dr. Alphys said:What if, in addition to all status effects except sleep failing, putting it to sleep is always a guaranteed success?
That would turn the ability from pretty OP to absolute shite.
Hopefully it's badass like Scolipede.Mari Ohara said:grubbin is adorable but i'm 99% sure it'll evolve to be just the regional shitty bug pokemon that every generation has to have for some reason
same, i also love the Tiki and the pikaclone because its steel typeGalacticPetey said:Really like what looks to be Grubbin's final evolution and that Normal/Dragon.
Watch it have shit stats though.GBAToad said:also, the ugly fish has an ability that MAKES ANY ATTACKS WITH PRIORITY FAIL
