Actually, in diamond/pearl/platinum you can catch wild Eevees in the Trophy Garden so it's been happening for the past 3 gens. Not in all the games, but it has been a mostly consistent thing.

Yeah, there should be a way to change your shiny's ability to hidden but make it hard. I remember being mad when hatching a shiny froakie that had torrent.

Fucking hell this is what I hoped for so long in Pokémon, now I can have perfect legendaries without hacking or reseting a thousand times, and getting perfect Pokémon without breading 50+ eggs.
