there's speculation that the starters might have alternate forms depending on when you level them up (day/night) and i would be o k w i t h t h a t

but even if that doesn't turn out to be the case my rankings of the starters would be

Out of all the token Pokemon we get every gen, the pair we haven't seen are the fossils. What kind of fossil pokemon do you want to see?

I'd really like to see a Raptor pokemon. Maybe Rock / Dark, or give him a unique elemental type like electric. An electric raptor sounds fun. Something based on a marine reptile would also be cool. Like a Mosasaur or Ichthyosaurus.

I would actually like to see some Ice Age creatures represented as fossil Pokemon, like a sabre-toothed tiger or one o' them weird-ass rhinos

or a giant prehistoric sloth

i'd love to see the prehistoric pikaclone that serves as the ancestor of all pikaclones - rock/electric type obviously

seconding the sabretooth tiger idea and giant sloth because we /need/ ice-age mammals, rock/normal types lolololol

part of me also wants another rock/water fossilised pokemon that evolves into something bigger than wailord

A saber tooth would be sweet, especially since Litten's not going down that road. I'm all for Ice Age mammals. Terror birds would also be a great prehistoric animal.

A spinosaurus or stegosaurus would be cool, megalania would be nice, terror birds would be awesome, raptors would also be neat, maybe a dilophosaurus(rock-poison that spits venom and maybe has frills like the one in Jurassic Park), and I'd like to see a duck-bill.

I tried looking up Hawaiian dinosaurs but apparently the Hawaiian islands weren't formed until after the K-T extinction. If they want to base them off of Hawaiian wildlife, Cenozoic Era wildlife seems like the way to go.

lmaooo looking at bewear and the sandcastle on the same page, this gen has some silly pokemon. I like it. I might use both of them so I can laugh each time they come out to battle.

I kind of expected alolan marowak to look better I guess, I prefer the regular one.

I don't really care what dark-type Meowth looks like, I want to see what the Persian will look like, if there is one. I might consider using a Persian then.

the fish thing exists, i'm indifferent to it.

Alolan Raichu is Electric/Psychic with an ability that doubles its speed when Electric Terrain is up.

a mushroom too, people keep saying this confirms that one leak with the alolan ninetales because i guess a mushroom was on it idk.

also here's a video of the school fish pokemon changing form, the ability becomes active once it hits a certain level, aka its just an evolution but not really but it's totally just an evolution. It's called Wishiwashi lol. Seems like a waste of an ability but maybe it does something else too.

oh and some pictures of dark meowth and ghost marowak

marowak needs to eat more, technician on meowth is dope.
