Does anybody recognize this creature?

It appears in an early screenshot hidden in Paper Mario: Sticker Star's data. Is it a new (but cut) enemy, or something that has appeared before?

Thats definitely new. Looks like some kind of yoshi worm?

Or perhaps it's a snake like hisstocrat?

Hisstocrat didn't have a Yoshi head. I'm pretty sure it's a new enemy that got cut for some reason.

Yeah, it does look like a Yoshi, or maybe a Koopa or Magikoopa

I guess that gives some strings that could help me find any leftovers of this enemy in final game versions:

There are have been a few snake enemies in the Mario franchise, but none that really look like that. it's possible the ressemblance to a yoshi head is unintended. another name you couldl look for is Garagero, I guess.

The fang makes me think of a Rex, but I don't think I've seen the body before.

It looks like a third Koopa, third Yoshi, and third Cobrat to me.

Pretty sure this was an original enemy that got scrapped. Also, it would be great information to add into the pre-release elements article.
