For me, Art of Noise - Il Pleure. It never fails to make me feel happy when I'm down. There's a way about it, its subtle breakbeat when it's mostly ambient, and the voice that accompanies the song, that just makes it perfect for me.

If you want ambience, you should listen to Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt". It's so beautiful...

Johnny Cash's version is even more ambient, in my opinion.

You, good sire, are officially an idiot. Even I - one of the biggest music fans on the Wiki - Don't automatically hate people because they don't like or do like certain music genres or songs.

Not SoaD's best, but still good. Can get a bit too screamy at times, but the dude's hilarious faux falsetto vocal range in the song more than makes up for the screaming.

Listen to a musical genre before judging it. I used to think I hated heavy metal despite never actually listening to it, but I found I absolutely loved it; Since then, I've never judged artists, genres, or songs before listening to them... Unless I am 100% sure that I dislike the artist or genre, as is the case with most hip hop and contemporary pop acts.

Yes indeed. I do love my obscureness. :P

And you probably think I just threw away all those metal genres because of the "metal" label... I almost did. But I actually looked them all up and did indeed find I disliked the artists mentioned to be under each one. My friend tried to get me into metal, and I truly don't it.

But again, just personal opinions.
