Laptop refuses to start up unless it's plugged in

Recently, I took my laptop in after Windows corrupted, and got it back. It was fine for the first few days, and now it just won't turn on unless I plug it in. I unscrewed the back and everything seems to be fine.

try taking out the battery and check if there are an connection issues and putting it back in if you didnt yet.

also i think theres a sort of device with which you can check if theres still voltage coming out of a battery so you can see if its the battery (because thats the first thing id think about)

Maybe get a replacement battery or send it back to Microsoft.
