Mario can use his hat like a weapon. This is probably the new "star spin".

I knew this was Mario because those blocks in the city, but yay, we get a metropolis instead of a stupid grass world. And yeah, I guess this wasn't a tech demo, but see, it's something pretty different. Except for some of the worlds, they look lame, like the one with the floating square block thing.

Also, Fancy Bowser. Mario also gets realistic head hair for once.

I'm so effing glad this isn't Super Mario Galaxy 3 though. So glad.

One thing, though, I just want Mario sports goddamnit.

As my sister said, though, this is the only game I'd want to play so far.

One thing I noticed: it seems that New Donk City has some red girders, which is very good because at least the developers remember that Donkey Kong (the game) is part of Mario's history, and is not forgotten like I assumed (I thought anything pre-Super Mario Bros. were ignored in regards to Mario history).

How did Donkey Kong get a city? I saw Dixie St., Expresso St., and Cranky St. Not to mention Diddy's Cafe.
