The lack of Wiggler, a highly recurring Mario & Luigi boss, deeply disturbs me.

I'd replace Geno with another Mario character for Espio, like Nabbit, IDK.

Same thing here, also I’d rather have Tikal be Rosalina, as they’re both NPCs in the core series, and both have a relationship with an entity that has a big role in the game as well(Chaos and many individual Chao for Tikal, Polari and Lubba as well as many individual Lumas for Rosalina)

Daisy also isn’t a good fit for Cream, I’d rather have her take on the appearance of Toadette since they’re both childlike in terms of behavior, even though Toadette doesn’t have a companion alongside her that she takes on adventures and has a great bond with.

I don't think it means much. It's just that the artist wanted to draw Geno representing somebody. In any case, I am impressed that Geno, a single character who appeared in one game (not counting cameo appearances), is still popular among fans.

the balloon man is also 100% perfect and fine
 
Seeing the Odyssey being green looks pretty unnatural, as I am used to the red hue of that signature ship. Also I can't tell if even the moustaches of captured things have Luigi's moustache. Somehow Mario looks taller when he's hosting Mario's Balloon World.

Video description says that all captured objects will have Mario's stache, so I guess it's still incomplete.

Mario probably is taller because he has to fit Luigi's skeleton, so he's suffering from Luigi's Mansion pre-release build syndrome.
 
I think my favourite part of the mod has to be Mario's Balloon World. However, besides the mustache problem, there also is the fact that Luigi has Mario's voice in cutscenes, probably because they couldn't find any fitting voice clips.

in the video description, some voice effects are embedded in the video so that's why Mario's voice are retained there
