Decided to look up a couple and found some pretty good ones.

And I know no one likes the genderbent versions, but you can't deny just how good some of them look!

I only dislike genderbenders when they don't actually look like reverse genders of said characters.

Like the one you posted, looks nothing like how the "Maria sisters" would look.

Maybe not, and I'm not a fan of them myself. But I've seen some pretty cool looking ones, in terms of art style.

I know that Mario and Luigi have big round noses, but I actually like how the female depictions in that drawing have much smaller noses.
