I'm one of those people who love antagonists as much if not more than the protagonists. Among my favorites are Porky and Fassad from the Mother franchise, Bowser, Birdo, Paarthurnax, Monokuma, Ridley, Lavos from Chrono Trigger, GLaDOS, as well as some like highly spoiler antagonists like

OK, so, initially, I guess I need to say I love Bowser. Whether as a menacing antagonist or just a goofy one.
Manfred Von Karma from Ace Attorney and Ridley from Metroid are also other ones...

17 - Can't think of any antagonists I really like. The only one that comes to mind is Van Grants (Tales of the Abyss spoiler) but even then I don't really like him all that much.

18 - Probably Adol, he's not really complex but he's not a complete blank slate self-insert kind of character. Just a guy who likes adventuring, sails to a new place, helps some people, punch god in the face, time to go somewhere new. He's not the chosen one, he's just good at his hobby. He doesn't have dialogue 99% of the time but when he does it means something. That's all I need.

My favorite protagonist is one I can't choose either, but I love Kirby, Shovel Knight, and Robo from Chrono Trigger
