My musical side has blossomed quite a bit since I went on hiatus. This is one of the many songs I wrote and put music to in a matter of two weeks.
ANOTHER WHIRL
I've been walking for miles to make sure I get home,
The sun is beating down on the land of which I roam,
Four days I have traveled all by myself,
With no one but my shadow to make things seem more quell.
The sun is setting and a chill is in my bones,
Because I don't wanna be here when I die alone.
Darkness is falling yet again,
Life is now was and when,
Crying does no good when you're alone in this world,
I think it's time I give it another whirl.
The lightning crashed last night and scared me half to death,
Hadn't God incurred enough of his wrath yet?
I decided not to sleep for another night,
So I continued to walk until the sky turned light,
Among my skills, there were a few that I had to hone,
Because I don't wanna be here when I die alone.
Darkness is falling yet again,

Crying does no good when you're alone in this world,
I think it's time I give it another whirl.
Seven days have passed, now tonight I'll die,
But no one around me can say I didn't try,
The poison in my blood is the one that's a thief,
Sometimes it's amazing what it is that can cause grief,
I'm not sure what I would want on my headstone,
Because I don't wanna be here when I die alone.
