You see this? You're thinking it's some kind of joke, right? ... I think so too, but hey this is so crazy I'm going to entertain the idea, cereal rumor blog(Did I just put those three worlds next to each other?) Ceralousy has found some findings that relate to a Mario cereal by Kellogs http://www.cerealously.net/rumor-mill-kelloggs-super-mario-cereal, the big deal besides Mario getting his third due at a delicious breakfast since the Nintendo cereal system and the Donkey Kong cereal is that the whole box is a amiibo.
So, beyond how absurd of an idea this is, the most darning evidence is that Nintendo worked with Post recently for Odyssey tie in, not Kellogs, but hey, this should bring up fun discussion.

Re: The world's most bizzare rumor, Mario, cereal and amiibo?

Nintendo! Super Mario Jump!

Nintendo! In a fruit-flavored crunch!!

Sorry, I got memories of Nintendo's Cereal System, which, I think is more bizarre than this.

The packaging looks too professional to be fake so I'm leaning on real.

Re: The world's most bizzare rumor, Mario, cereal and amiibo?

You have beaten me to the punch with this bizarre announcement.

I have a feeling that the amiibo compatibility will be similar to scanning Mario (and thus, unlocking the classic Mario costume), and I think it's good that those that don't have amiibo have a chance to scan the item for some bonuses or get hints from Uncle amiibo.

Thank you for reading.

Oh my god I so want this to be real so I can have an excuse for eating sugary cereal again.

They better not be scalpable or I'll fucking murder someone.

like i need an excuse for cinnamon toast crunch

Re: The world's most bizzare rumor, Mario, cereal and amiibo?

It's hard to imagine hardcore amiibo collectors having a shelf full of plastic figures and one large cardboard box.

Re: The world's most bizzare rumor, Mario, cereal and amiibo?

Probably tastes like knock-off Lucky Charms

Lucky Charms is my favorite cereal so more of it is better.

Re: The world's most bizzare rumor, Mario, cereal and amiibo?

No, I mean like those off-brand shit that on the surface looks the same but then you put it in your mouth and you are like "what is this garbage"

Re: The world's most bizzare rumor, Mario, cereal and amiibo?

i mean tbh i like a certain knock-off brand of fruity pebbles more than the original, it tastes fruitier and i like it more that way. i think it was maltmeal or something

anyway i would unironically buy and eat this even without the amiibo thing, though i hope it doesnt drive up the price, imagine paying $12.99 for a box of cereal

Especially Mario Parties.

Can't wait for all these to be bought out then put online for $20+.

Looks like the NFC chip is not protected. Players would bring their Switches to the supermarket and scan it (for free).

Adding onto this, they come in huge bags for cheaper and it tastes fine to me.
