That's pretty normal, lots of Android games and apps just aren't designed for anything but a phone, so running them on a Chromebook will result in them not taking up the entirety of the display.

I imagine the same will apply when to Windows PCs Microsoft's Android on Windows 11 thing fully rolls out.
 
Soo.. to those who play, what is your ticket strategy?
My friend likes to put all her tickets into her mains.
I don't have mains, I wait for the remaining hours of a ranked cup, and pour tickets into what will be the most beneficial to rise in tier.
 
Was hoping for all Rainbow Road & Rosalina's Ice World, ah well, would have been too repetitive I guess.

Well, that's the most straightforward and effective way to invest tickets. I too mostly invest tickets in what is currently in the top shelves of ranked cup courses.

I personally have favorite drivers, but I mostly invest in them when their favorite courses are in a ranked cup or when the ranked cup doesn't require investments to reach the results I'm aiming for.

Keep in mind though that I didn't spend a single penny in this game, so I have fewer tickets to invest.
 
Meanwhile, this was my highest score yet when it was still compatible with my phone. Free-to-play through and through.

Honestly, props! That was certainly a good call on your part, and you surely showed how good is this new Toad! I like it when you conquer the leaderboards with Supers (your last Blue Yoshi run was also pretty insane!).

I like Giant Banana a lot too, especially when after the Frenzy you see the endless trail of "Hit!" on screen! I'm not as good as hoarding tickets tho, and there are two colored Yoshis waiting for me at the moment ;-)
 
As pointed out by others, there's something fishy about the trailer of the Holiday Tour:

this looks like RMX Vanilla Lake 1R/T, but let's have a look at the actual RMX Vanilla Lake 1R:

in the first turn near the lake the wall is way too close to the track and is not continuous, ditto for the second turn:

not only that, a snowy patch can be seen in the trailer:

R/T courses are almost always just course elements added on top of an existing course, in this case though the wall layout isn't compatible.

Could this be that the developers sneaked SNES Vanilla Lake 2T in the trailer to confuse the players by pretending this to be yet another tour that just adds R/Ts?
 
At first thought Mega Dry Bowser doesn't make sense as the holiday tours boss, but then ya remember there's Krampus

It's not just an English thing, in Japanese too they're a light-blue Toad:

Now, while light-blue Toads aren't unheard of (I think they were featured in the early spin-offs, like the first two Paper Marios), from what I remember currently the main Toad colors in the more first party Nintendo games like Super Mario Run or the New Super Mario Bros. games rather were:

* classic Toads (red cap, blue jacket)
* red Toads
* blue Toads
* yellow Toads
* green Toads
* purple Toads

it's interesting to see Nintendo themselves exploring the whole Shy Guy/Yoshi color spectrum with the Toads.

That's so cool. Sadly I have to retire from MKT. My phone's charging port broke and it doesn't have a wireless charging feature.

Daisy is on Waluigi's side even though she thinks that he's "icky, icky, ew" (and I agree with her)? Well, I'm probably going to have to be on his side as well since Peach and a majority of female characters are on there. I'm sorry, Dixie and Birdo. ☹

To be fair, it's either him or her kidnapper's employer. She probably had to flip a coin. Most of them probably did.
 
Wario should have zero characters on his side, and Waluigi also have zero characters.
