Dr. Mario does have the most satisfying back throw in the game.
You should probably know the basic weaknesses and strengths of your characters as well as the matchup. King K. Rool is a heavyweight that specializes in close-range moves. Mario and Dr. Mario generally have range issues which can make them sometimes struggle against ranged heavyweights like DK and Bowser, but they should have an easier time with King K. Rool. There's a comedy mention of Dr. Mario's projectiles comboing into King K. Rool trying to recover. King K. Rool is really bad at trying to recover back, being big and having no defensive options, so the fireballs/pills hurt.Yep! I also have better luck beating my nemesis King K. Rool with him. But I'm not a professional smash player, so I'm not so technical about my character choices. I'm good with almost all of them. Pokemon fighters besides Lucario and Mewtwo are my weaknesses.
He's straightforward and easy to learn, so he doesn't require much mental effort to have fun with. Anyway, his smash attacks, aerials, and utilt are your friends. He's really good at combos, is mobile enough, and fludd's super underrated. Most attacks in his toolset have their place. Meteor knuckle's always satisfying to land.Right now I'm tryna get good with Mario cause he seems like a really fun character.
