You can (skin mods that don't introduce any bone/animation edits are fine) but other people will not see him.

I beat this spirit fight at full HP. I did took damage, but PSI magnet laughed off their attempts to attack me while retaliating and killing two of them at least. Black Knight + Slow Super Armor + Tank style is such a force to be reckoned with.

One-slots are possible, but you can't do mirror matches with them. But I decided to go all the way because sound edits to characters seem to crash in mirror matches anyway in ARCopolis so why not.

In Smash Bros Ultimate. you can put different models over the character costumes (a newer mod has made it possible, in this case, ARCopolis). Dark Light goes over black and purple Ness while Redshift goes over the last Ness slot, the purple Ness. However, you can't fight them when they are together the same time, nor can you play with them and another Ness character. Voice mods also work the same way, you can make a Dark Light voice and a Redshift voice, but the game crashes if they both appear at the same time.

Essentially, you can have only one Ness fighter at a time when playing. This also means the Ditto Pokemon will cause the game to crash, as it copies your fighter.

Mishima Dojo probably has my favorite stage design in the game. The stage itself has a very detailed foreground environment, I dig the feudal Japanese-type architecture, and it's one of the few interior stages of the game (I think the only other stages with interiors are Frigate Orpheon, Arena Ferox, Gareg Mach Monastery -maybe Brinstar and Brinstar Depths if you count organic environments- but it's not as meticulously designed as this one is, (image for comparison for Gareg Mach Monastery, you can see it's more empty space and it hasn't really impressed me visually as much as this stage has, likely because the stage props are in the foreground and they are more easily visible). Plus it takes place at night, which is another plus, and I really like how the lighting changes when you break open the walls, it's an attention to detail that I very appreciate.

Didn't know I'd like this stage that much but hey! Might be overall my favorite new stage to fight on, but it does have to compete with Northern Cave and Dracula's Castle.

Oh and I turned on Star KOs for this stage. Most of the time you just hear the characters yelling and you don't see them but it's pretty funny!
