The game is getting updates, but what it gets is probably not very well-known because characters are not very frequently added, which is you know, what people are most interested in. In this thread, it's usually when a new doctor gets announced that you will see a new post. You can bet that when Morton gets announced (probably in the next few days) you will see a new post about it. Mario Kart Tour's update frequency is much more well-known mainly because it's a more popular game from a popular series, and there are always some new character or variant announced. Is this game getting more updates?

Yellow: "New stages will be added on Dec. 16 at 10 PM PT! Maybe it's just me, but I gotta wonder why Bowser picked such a scary place to live. How does he relax around all those spikes?" #DrMarioWorld pic.twitter.com/mpIPL4uzUh

Red: "Dr. Iggy arrives on Jan 13 at 10 PM PT. Finally, all the Koopalings are here! Now they can open their own hospital. Not sure if that means they should though..." #DrMarioWorld pic.twitter.com/xWIjOYD0Zw

Blue: "A new desert world opens on Jan. 13 at 10 PM PT. Those ripples are the wind pulling the sand around. If the sand grains are varied in size, it doesn't take a lot of wind to make waves!" #DrMarioWorld pic.twitter.com/dQUs6LtRdw
